Our trips are designed to:

• Help children make links with their learning in school and assume the mantle of expert using learning in a different context.

• Be London-centric to offer them a sense of awareness and pride of the types of places in their ‘local community’.

• Provide children with the opportunity to spend time in a variety of contexts that may be new/unfamiliar to them: seaside, countryside, art gallery

• Provide breadth and balance of learning beyond the classroom experiences as children move through school.

• Provide children, and parents, with aspirations to visit these places again in the future.

• ‘Diminish the difference’ in opportunities for our pupil premium children.
